2024 Honda Prologue EV Preview: What We Know So Far
Slated for an early 2024 release, the 2024 Honda Prologue is a game-changer in the EV and hybrid world. The 2024 Honda Prologue EV is expected to have a range of about 300 miles per full charge and comes equipped with the trademark Honda exterior design and interior luxury we’ve all come to know and love. McComb EV drivers and prospective owners should look forward to this Honda release, and Mike Whatley Honda wants to be your source for Honda Prologue info as it’s released. 2024 Honda Prologue EV
The 2024 Honda Prologue release date is set for early 2024, but Hammond drivers are already eager for the official market availability of this groundbreaking SUV. Expected trims include the LX, EX, EX-L, and Touring versions, with a GM-engineered platform with an exterior and interior that has one of the sharpest designs you’ve ever seen. Although the 2024 Honda Prologue price hasn’t been made official, we do know that it’s expected to be released as a midsize SUV with three-row seating.
Performance won’t be an issue with this EV — Honda plans on including the 100-kWh Ultium battery and a whopping 340-horsepower electric motor that pounds out 325 lb-ft of torque. The motor is rear-mounted, and the Prologue will include FWD and AWD. Although the estimated range is 300 miles, there are rumors additional power could be available from battery packs, giving you even more range.
As more charging stations open across the country and home charging stations become more affordable, we’re finally seeing our first glimpses into the possibilities of an all-EV society. With a 300-mile range and a decent amount of charging stations, it’s easily feasible to plan on taking a vehicle like a Prologue on a cross-country trip. In the past, this was unheard of because of the lack of range and available charging stations.
2024 Honda Prologue EV: A Collaborative Effort
The Prologue features a beautiful exterior that you’d expect from a Honda truck or SUV. The interior is nothing to shake a stick at either. However, the platform is manufactured by GM via a brand partnership between the two industry titans. So what else does Honda have in mind for the EV category?
Honda’s EV Future: 2030 & Beyond
If the momentum of the EV movement continues to trend upward, Honda is set to continue releasing high-quality EVs worldwide. In 2026, Honda will begin rolling out their Honda e: Architecture, a combination of the hardware and software platforms. In a continuous effort with GM, Honda plans to make affordable EVs available with a focused effort on competitive pricing and extended range. With these plans in place, Honda aims to release 30 EV modes worldwide by the year 2030! This includes a full range of commercial vehicles and versions of Honda classics you’ve grown accustomed to over the years.
