If you want to save fuel on hills, lower your speed as you continue uphill, and use your car’s momentum to coast down the hill. 
5. Use Your AC On the Highway: Your car does use gas when you use your AC. When you’re traveling around town, roll your windows down. At lower speeds you’re not putting drag on the car. However, on interestates and highways, roll your windows up and use the AC. At high speeds, the wind resistance pulls your car down and reduces your fuel economy.
